After a highly successful online meet-and-greet in June, you asked for another Virtual Coffee Roulette and we delivered! From the 17 to 20 August, we held four (more) successful coffee roulettes. The original inspiration for the event was to help members to connect during this time of isolation, and not just to talk about microbiology. Each group chat had an average of 4 participants that were randomly selected based on their preferred session day and times; members were from diverse microbiology fields and career stages. Given the length of our current lockdown, we will be hosting a third coffee roulette round. If you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
