MEMBERSHIP AWARDS
Do you have interesting microbial discoveries from the hospitals or pathology laboratories to share? If so, then you should apply to present at our Northern News from the Hospitals events. We typically hold two per year: one in May with our Annual General Meeting and one in October.

Prize Details
• Certificate
• 1 year membership to the ASM
• $250 cash*
*cash will be distributed equally if there is more than one winner
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be a Medical Scientist (up to Grade 1, Year 4), or equivalent career stage
Assessment
• Finalists for the award will be selected based on abstract (under 250 words)
• Finalists will give a 12-minute presentation during either of our two News from the Hospitals events
• Presentations will be assessed by three ASM members and the speaker with the highest score will be awarded the Membership Award
